Framework for receipt and investigation of protected disclosures in Ireland.
The Office of the Ombudsman (Ireland) intends to establish a multi-supplier framework for the receipt and investigation of protected disclosures under the Protected Disclosures Act 2014. The framework will cover services including initial assessment, investigation, and reporting of whistleblower complaints. Suppliers must demonstrate expertise in employment law, investigative procedures, and handling sensitive information. The framework is expected to run for up to 4 years with an estimated value between €1 million and €10 million. This is a prior information notice; a formal tender is expected later.
