NOAA seeks sources for mariner support services for its fleet.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking sources for contract mariner support services to provide qualified U.S. merchant mariners for NOAA's Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) fleet. The contractor will supply licensed and unlicensed mariners to crew NOAA vessels, including deck officers, engineers, and support personnel. Requirements include compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations, STCW certification, and relevant experience on ocean-going vessels. The contract is expected to be a multi-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) arrangement with task orders.
