Whanawhana Bridge Replacement

Hastings District Council seeks a contractor for the design and construction of a 47m single-lane bridge on Whanawhana Road. The scope includes temporary works design and management, piling and temporary causeway, substructure and superstructure construction, pavement and line marking, traffic management, and consultation with the Mana Whenua Group. Bidders must hold Bridge Construction Class A prequalification and demonstrate a track record in bridge construction. The contract is valued in the range of NZD 1-10 million based on typical bridge projects. Evaluation is 50% price, 25% methodology, 15% relevant skills, 10% economic benefits.
