Upgrade and recoating of Tank 1 at Marine Atlantic ferry terminal.
Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) is seeking qualified vendors for the upgrade and recoating of Tank 1 at its ferry terminal in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador. The scope includes surface preparation and coating application on tank components, removal and replacement of the asphalt apron, grading and compacting of granular base, and installation of sealant. Vendors must submit a construction schedule, site-specific safety and environmental plans, and a project execution methodology. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 23, 2026, with tenders due by July 7, 2026, submitted electronically via MERX EBS.
