Pool of peer review managers for public health peer reviews.
The Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA), wholly owned by the Local Government Association, seeks to form a pool of peer review managers for delivering local authority Public Health Peer Reviews. The contract is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care, with 90 peer reviews planned from June 2026 to March 2029. In the first year, 20 reviews plus pilots will be delivered. Peer review managers will handle preparatory work, manage the onsite review process, brief the team, write reports, and provide feedback. Candidates must have relevant experience in public health peer review management.
