The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office 20, intends to award a contract for annual medical gas system inspection, maintenance, and repair services for the Puget Sound VA Health Care System facilities in Tacoma and Seattle, Washington. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on medical gas systems including oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, vacuum, and waste anesthetic gas disposal systems. Key requirements include compliance with NFPA 99, Joint Commission standards, and VA directives; technicians must be certified by ASSE 6040 or equivalent. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price, base plus four option years, with a period of performance starting approximately July 1, 2026.
