The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) seeks to establish a panel of employment mediation service providers to supplement its in-house mediators during peak demand. Providers must have experience in mediation and employment law, handling personal grievances and other employment relationship problems via Zoom, phone, or face-to-face. A specific subset of providers with tikanga Māori capability is required, including knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, te reo Māori, and cultural practices. The panel will operate on an as-needed basis across all regions of New Zealand.
