VA seeks geriatric PT training for North Las Vegas staff.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office 21, is seeking sources for a training program for physical therapists focused on serving geriatric patients. The training will be delivered to VA staff at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center. The scope includes developing and delivering a curriculum that addresses the unique needs of elderly veterans, covering topics such as age-related physiological changes, fall prevention, and chronic disease management. The contractor must have experience in geriatric physical therapy education and be able to provide certified instructors. The period of performance is anticipated to be one year with options.
