Waikato Regional Council is issuing an advance notice for the upgrade of the Lower Piako River right bank stopbank from Pipiroa to Ngatea, covering stages 2, 3, and 4. The project involves civil engineering works for flood protection infrastructure. Contractors must attend a compulsory site visit to be eligible to tender. The full RFT will be released the week of July 27, 2026. The work is located in the Waikato region of New Zealand.
