Water treatment plant upgrade with BAC treatment and new reservoir pipework.
South Taranaki District Council seeks a contractor to optimize the Opunake Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes ground preparation and pipework for a new 1,800m3 reservoir (procured separately), addition of BAC treatment, removal of two redundant reservoirs, installation of a residual stream recycle system, and a clarified water balance tank. The goal is to increase potable water storage capacity and quality for the Opunake water supply scheme. The contract is for construction and civil works, with the reservoir itself excluded.
