Market engagement for early language service for children 0-5 in Bradford.
City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, on behalf of Public Health and in partnership with Bradford Children's and Families Trust, is conducting preliminary market engagement for a Community Early Language Service across Bradford District. The service targets children aged 0-5 and their families to improve speech, language, and communication development, increase school readiness, and reduce inequalities. A three-lot model is proposed: Lot 1 (universal early identification and support), Lot 2 (targeted intervention), and Lot 3 (workforce development). The contract is part of Bradford's Best Start Local Plan 2026-2029 and the Prevention and Early Help Strategy 2026-2031. A virtual market engagement event will be held on 7 August 2026; interested providers must register via YORtender.
