NPL seeks tandem ICP-MS for trace element analysis.
NPL Management Limited is procuring a tandem inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) for trace element analysis. The instrument must include a collision/reaction cell for resolving isobaric interferences, four-channel cell gas control, two mass filter quadrupoles with ±1 amu ion selection, single particle ICP-MS capability for nanoparticle characterization, and high matrix introduction for up to 25% total dissolved solids. This is a pre-tender engagement, not an evaluation exercise, and does not limit future participation in a formal ITT. The buyer is the UK's National Physical Laboratory, serving research and measurement needs.
