Independent review of NZ System Operator performance and value.
The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko seeks a provider to conduct an independent review of the System Operator's performance assessment framework and value for money. The review will compare international system operator models and identify improvement opportunities. Suppliers are evaluated on relevant experience, proposed solution, capacity to deliver by December 2026, economic benefits to New Zealand, and overall value for money. The contract runs from 16 September to 18 December 2026. Interested parties must attend a supplier briefing on 21 July 2026.
