The Ministry of Education - School Infrastructure seeks a main contractor for the full refurbishment of Block A at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Orini ki Ngāti Awa. The scope includes demolition, recladding, re-roofing, internal alterations and fit-out, upgrade of building services (electrical, data, HVAC, hydraulic), upgrade to Type 4 fire alarm system, external works (decking, retaining wall, drainage, carpark, driveway), refurbishment of adjacent toilet block, and asbestos removal as required. The project serves a Māori immersion school in the Bay of Plenty region. Contractors must be capable of delivering complex building refurbishment with multiple trades and compliance with New Zealand building standards.
