Tendring District Council seeks a contractor for the demolition of an existing steel-framed car park and construction of 28 residential apartments, a replacement multi-storey public car park, community spaces, and public realm with landscaping. The project has planning permission and is at RIBA stage 3, with an 18-month construction period and overall completion by March 2028. The procurement is a two-stage process requiring pricing for both the Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) and indicative Contract Sum Analysis. The successful bidder will work under a JCT Design and Build contract, managed by Baily Garner LLP as Employer's Agent.
