Research relating to the impacts of the minimum wage, 1-year projects (open call)

The Low Pay Commission (LPC) invites tenders for research projects on the impacts of the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage, particularly since 2019. Projects must deliver results by September 2027 with a final report in November 2027. The LPC is a UK non-departmental public body advising the government on minimum wage rates. Up to three projects will be funded, each with a maximum budget of £60,000 (excluding VAT). Tenders must address quality criteria (understanding, methodology, ability to deliver) and provide a detailed pricing schedule. Researchers are encouraged to propose innovative topics or extend existing research.
