Germany – Pharmaceutical products – Conclusion of a non-exclusive discount agreement according to § 130a para. 8 SGB V for the active ingredient Hydroxycarbamide (excl. Dafo. FTA), ATC L01XX05 for the period 01.08.2026 - 31.07.2028 (plus extension option 1x12 months)

The German statutory health insurance funds (GKV-Spitzenverband) are concluding a non-exclusive discount agreement for the active ingredient Hydroxycarbamide (ATC L01XX05), excluding Dafo. FTA. The contract covers the period from August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2028, with an option to extend by 12 months. Suppliers must be pharmaceutical companies authorized to market the product in Germany. The agreement is based on § 130a Abs. 8 SGB V, which mandates discounts for patented drugs. The scale is national, serving all statutory health insurance funds in Germany.
