The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources for an Open RAN cellular end-to-end system software and support. The procurement aims to acquire a complete Open RAN solution including software, integration, and ongoing support for testing and research purposes. NIST requires a system that complies with O-RAN Alliance specifications and supports interoperability testing. The contract is expected to cover software licenses, maintenance, and technical support for a period of up to five years. Interested vendors must demonstrate experience with Open RAN deployments and provide references.
