Ferrovial BAM Rail Systems (FBRS JV) seeks expressions of interest for a road-rail trailer to transport and handle 216m long welded rail sections across tracked and trackless environments, including tunnels. The solution must carry at least eight 216m rail sections per load, operate on road and rail, negotiate 5,000m radius curves, 160mm cant deficiency, 3.50% gradients, and achieve speeds above 10km/h. Suppliers must demonstrate capability in road-rail plant, specialist rail handling equipment, design, certification, testing, operation, and maintenance. FBRS JV also values solutions supporting reuse, asset repurposing, and lower-carbon outcomes.
