RFI for modernized Vessel Traffic Management System for Canadian Coast Guard.
The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) is seeking information to replace its current Vessel Traffic Management Information System (VTMIS) with a modernized system. The new system must improve maritime traffic monitoring through rule-based automatic alerts and risk analysis tools, integrate vessel traffic with waterway conditions (geographical features, ice, meteorological data), and harmonize services with e-Navigation and IMO/IHO standards.
